North Wales Clean Energy Fund
Unlock Funding for Your Clean Energy Project - Invest in clean energy and decarbonisation projects to lower costs, improve efficiency and unlock new opportunities.
The £24.6 million Clean Energy Fund aims to support North Wales clean energy projects. It will empower businesses and voluntary organisations to create a sustainable future, deliver £100 million investment in the region, create 150 new jobs, and cut up to 125,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e).
Applications are invited from the following organisations for projects based in North Wales:
- Businesses or private sector organisations operating in the region
- Voluntary organisations, charities, and community-led projects
- Other organisations committed to decarbonisation and energy efficiency
What can it be used for?
- Renewable energy generation and infrastructure
- Smart energy solutions including storage
- Energy efficiency, decarbonisation and retrofit
- Manufacturing and supply chain opportunities
